Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist in Mokena, Illinois. In this role, you will function as a scrub person during surgical procedures and assist in the preparation and cleaning of surgical instruments and rooms. Candidates should have a high school diploma, preferably completion of a Surgical Technologist Program, with current certification preferred. Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduated from a recognized Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification is preferred.
• Must complete BLS Course within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and clean surgical instruments for processing.
• Assist with cleaning and preparation of the surgical room.
• Perform all other assigned duties.
