Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile field and ensures sterility of supplies during procedures.
• Assists circulating nurse and surgical team in maintaining a sterile environment.
• Gathers necessary surgical supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Performs sponge, needle, and instrument counts pre- and intra-operatively.
• Gowns and gloved surgeons and assistants; supports instrument processing.
