Freeman Health System is seeking a Surgical Technician for a PRN schedule. You will collaborate with the surgeon and perioperative team to ensure sterile fields, support procedures, and manage instruments and supplies while following infection prevention standards and hospital policies.

Requirements include a Technical School graduate of Surgical Technology or an Associate Degree in Surgical Technology or Applied Sciences, with 0–2 years of OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Surgical Technology or Technical School graduate in Surgical Technology.
• 0–2 years of operating room surgical technician experience required.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with the surgeon and perioperative team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Prepares and maintains sterile surgical fields and instruments.
• Assists with procedures and ensures proper use of instruments and supplies.
• Adheres to infection prevention standards, regulatory requirements and facility policies.
