The Surgical Technician II Certified role supports a multidisciplinary team, ensures instruments and supplies are readily available, anticipates the surgeon's needs, and assists with setup and turnover of the operating room.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of certified Surgical Technologist program, military trained, or AD in Surgical Technology preferred.
• Basic Life Support certified.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• Must have advanced competencies in a minimum of 3 specialties.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate needs of the surgical team and obtain instrumentation and supplies for the procedure.
