Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. (USPI) is seeking a Full-time Certified Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech at Physicians Surgery Center in Tennessee. The CST will scrub for procedures, maintain a sterile field, and prepare supplies and equipment while supporting the surgical team.

Experience in an ambulatory surgical center is preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, aseptic technique, and collaboration with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Preferred: ambulatory surgical center experience.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.

Physicians Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Full-time CST.

Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech at Physicians Surgery Center

The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when neededMust excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians
