Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech First Assistant (CSTFA) to join the perioperative team under the surgeon's direction. The CSTFA combines surgical technologist and first assistant duties to support safe operations and optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include instrument handling, tissue management, and adherence to sterile technique. Ideal candidates will have a CSTFA certification and BLS, with at least two years of Surgical Tech

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a Surgical Tech – Required
• Surgical Technician First Assist Certification – Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Required

Responsibilities

• Perioperative team member under surgeon supervision to ensure safe operation.
• Assist with surgical instruments handling and tissue handling.
• Perform responsibilities of Surgical Technologist and Surgical First Assistant as directed.
• Promote service excellence; perform other duties as assigned
