Beloit Memorial Hospital is hiring a Surgical First Assistant for our Surgical Services Department.
The Certified Surgical First Assistant will be primarily responsible for assisting in surgery by providing exposure, traction, and other technical functions under the direct supervision of the surgeon. Will assist in surgery as first or second Surgical Assist on all general, urological, ENT, OB/GYN, podiatry, orthopedic, plastic, vascular, or other surgical cases as required. Specifically involved in both outpatient and inpatient at BHS in accordance with recognized standards of care as outlined by federal, state, and local applicable laws and regulations. The Certified Surgical First Assistant will comply with the ethical and administrative rules, regulations, policies, and procedures and will participate with BHS Quality Assurance Program in order to comply with TJC and Medicare standards.
