Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Florida is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to function in a scrub role for operative and invasive procedures, establishing and maintaining a sterile field, specimen handling, counts, medications and implants and assisting with instrument processing.

The CST may also participate in circulating duties and contribute to standards and quality improvement within the Operating Room department.

Qualifications

• Active CST certification required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer knowledgeable of selected specialty.
• Prefer ability in one-on-one demonstration of sterile technique.
