MultiCare Health System seeks a Central Service Technician to support our healthcare teams by cleaning, sterilizing and packaging instruments, maintaining inventory, and transporting supplies. This role requires teamwork, organization and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy hospital setting.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, completion of a central service program or certified training, and either CRCST certification or related experience.
The Central Service Technician works as a team member and is responsible for providing support to the total health care team at MultiCare Health System by cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments, maintaining inventory, and transporting supplies and equipment. This position requires a cooperative manner, service‑oriented attitude, organization of time and equipment, independent decision making in the execution of daily routine duties, and prioritization of multiple tasks. Internal contacts occur on a daily basis and may include patient care providers and Materials Management staff. External contacts are limited but may include patients, vendors, rental companies/agencies, other health care facilities, and physicians.
FTE: 1.0. Shift: Evening. Schedule: 8‑hour evening shifts plus rotating weekends.
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay scale is $26.67 – $44.05 USD. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience and certification(s) and/or education.
