Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time role in San Diego, CA. You will advocate for students, design learning paths, and deliver instruction using Catapult Learning models within our proven curriculum.

The ideal candidate holds a CA Special Education Teaching Credential, has 5+ years of relevant K–8 experience, and can collaborate with families and school staff. A $1500 sign-on bonus is offered along with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified Special Education Teacher in CA required.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with grades K–8, literacy, and math.
• Proficient with online recordkeeping platforms.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Catapult Learning models to teach knowledge and build confidence.
• Provide academic, social, and emotional support for students needing extra help.
• Conduct assessments and develop data-driven plans in collaboration with school staff and families.
• Implement behavior support and crisis intervention strategies for a safe learning environment.
• Maintain instructional materials and a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Identify eligible students through testing and enroll them per Catapult Learning guidelines.
• Develop individualized lesson plans and support plans.
• Supervise students and ensure safe transitions between classes.
• Attend training and deliver targeted instruction to eligible students.

• Develop individualized lesson plans, behavioral assessments, and support plans.
• Supervise students, ensuring safe transitions to and from classrooms.
• Attend training, pass assessments, and deliver targeted instruction to eligible students.

• Valid Special Education Teaching Credential in CA
• 5+ years of experience teaching preferred.
