Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic scans. You will ensure patient safety, image accuracy, and proper documentation within the Radiology department.

The role requires ARDMS/ARRT credentials, CPR certification, and experience with general, breast, or vascular ultrasound as applicable. You will work closely with physicians and peers to maintain imaging standards and support patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited sonography program.
• Must be ARDMS/ARRT registered in appropriate subspecialty.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce general diagnostic scans.
• Ensure image quality and proper labeling in PACS.
• Assist in complex scans and invasive procedures as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Document and verify data entries for patient records and charges.
• Collaborate with physicians and senior staff to support quality imaging services.
