Qualifications

  • Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or healthcare organization training program; military training or experience satisfies this requirement for WA state employees, per Title 18 RCW.
  • In lieu of formal training, candidates with a nationally recognized certification (e.g., CRCST) and/or a minimum of one (1) year of recent sterile processing experience preferred.
  • Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location.
  • Minimum one (1) year of related experience preferred.

However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
