Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and related tasks.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and verify accuracy.
• Support pharmacy operations and inventory management.
• Handle calls and communications with physicians as needed.
• Process manual and third-party claims under supervision.
• Contribute to excellent customer service at the counter and OTC area.
• Support Walgreens healthcare clinics and coordination with external providers.
