Job summary

Spring Lake Park Schools seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver direct OT services to students birth through age twenty-one and provide indirect consultation to staff and families. The role spans multiple district buildings with potential reassignment.

Under supervision of the Director of Student Services and district therapists, you will evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions, document progress, and participate in IEPs and team meetings to support student

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from ACOTE approved program is required.
• Ability to determine eligibility and dismissal from special education services.
• Experience in educational occupational therapy context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students birth through age twenty-one.
• Consult with teachers and parents on activities and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy progress, and reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and district reviews.
• Schedule therapy times and locations across district buildings.
