Job summary

Baptist Memphis Lung is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care using critical thinking, clinical knowledge, and compassion.

The role requires NBRC-certified CRT credential, current state license, and strong collaboration with the care team. ACLS and BLS may be required. Experience with hospital settings is preferred.

You will participate in patient education and health teaching, support lifelong learning, and ensure safety and quality in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice respiratory care.
• State licensure and/or CRT credential per NBRC requirements.
• ACLS recommended and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient and implement the plan of care.
• Evaluate and modify the plan as needed.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Provide health teaching to patient and family.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver quality respiratory care.

Minimum Required

• Current state license.

Training

• Successful completion of Hospital and Departmental orientation.
