Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha seeks a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift. You’ll assess respiratory patients and provide therapies per physician orders across age groups, with a 36-hour week and weekend/holiday rotations.

Schedule: Night Shift, 6:30p-7a, 36 hour Week. Will have a weekend, holiday, and call rotation.
Responsible for the assessment of respiratory patients with acute and chronic illnesses, to ensure delivery of clinically appropriate respiratory care procedures as prescribed by the medical staff for neonate, pediatric, adolescent and adult patients.
Responsibilities:
Performs routine modalities of respiratory care independent of direct supervision
Documents procedures in patient record according to departmental procedure.
Develops/reviews/revises plan of care as needed to provide optimum patient care outcome.
Regularly communicates with other patient care team members to exchange information regarding condition and progress of assigned patients.
Works within Protocol Guidelines and ensures all patients are receiving appropriate therapy.
Assists the Respiratory Care Department achieve a Patient Satisfaction rate >95%.
Works toward improving interdepartmental relations.
