Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to evaluate patients' respiratory needs and develop care plans based on current clinical guidelines.

Required licenses include BLS and ACLS, with PALS and Neonatal Resuscitation expected within 6 months of start date; state CRT certification in Florida; and an associate degree or higher.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Evaluates the respiratory needs of patients. Develops and implements the Respiratory Care plan based upon clinical practice guidelines.

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advance Life Support, and Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (CRT-State) Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of FL
• Completion of a two year AMA Approved respiratory care program (associates degree or equivalent) or Bachelor degree preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in a clinical respiratory therapy preferred.
