Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to provide and administer all aspects of respiratory care therapy and supportive equipment under supervision, in accordance with department policy.

This onsite role is at our MetroPark facility in Iselin, NJ, requiring an AMA-approved respiratory care program graduate, an associate's degree, and NJ licensure/certifications. Advanced life support credentials are preferred.

• Associate's degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical aspects of Respiratory Care.

The Certified Respiratory Therapist under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, Shift Supervisors, provides and administers all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment as stated in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual.

This is an onsite position in our new MetroPark facility in Iselin, NJ.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associate's degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical aspects of Respiratory Care.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• NJ Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
