Job summary

First Atlantic Healthcare is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) for Freeport Place Assisted Living in Maine. The role focuses on administering medications and supporting residents in an assisted living setting, with opportunities to build relationships and contribute to a caring community.

Shifts include 230p-11p and 1030p-7a (Full Time 30+ hours) plus a Weekend Warrior option; sign-on bonus offered and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Forty (40) hours training program approved by the Department of Health and Human Services.
• Experience with, or desire to care for people who are older and/or chronically ill.
• Strong customer service mindset with good verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Medication & Treatment Delivery: Administer meds and treatments per standards.
• Personal Support: Assist residents with daily living activities and light housekeeping.

About the Role

As a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA), you will be part of creating a caring environment with your clinical team, focusing on administering medications and treatments to your residents in an assisted living environment. Often you will support your residents with personal support needs as well, such as light housekeeping. Key Responsibilities

• Medication & Treatment Delivery: Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with established standards and protocols.

• Personal Support: Assist residents with personal support needs and daily living activities, including light housekeeping.

• Relationship & Environment Building: Foster positive customer relationships, exercise good judgment and verbal communication, and help create a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma.

• Certification: Must have completed a training program approved by the Department of Health and Human Services of no less than forty (40) hours.

• Experience & Mindset: Experience with or a strong desire to spend your workday caring for people, especially those who are older and/or chronically ill.

• Skills: Focus on a high level of customer service, ability to work with independence, flexibility, good judgment, and strong verbal communication skills.
