Job summary

Universal Health Services' Clarion Psychiatric Center in Clarion, PA is seeking a PRN Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide flexible inpatient coverage. The primary need is Sunday coverage with one additional weekday per week, plus optional PRN holidays.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Pennsylvania license (or be eligible) and have experience with psychiatric or behavioral health patients.

Qualifications

• PRN Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) is required.
• Active Pennsylvania license, or ability to obtain one.
• Inpatient experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with psychiatric or behavioral health patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform admission histories and physicals as needed.
• Evaluate and manage routine and urgent medical concerns for psychiatric inpatients.
• Review laboratory and diagnostic results and place orders within scope of practice.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and facility leadership.
• Support continuity of care in a structured inpatient psychiatric setting.

Primary Need: We are seeking a PRN Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide flexible coverage at Clarion Psychiatric Center. The primary need is for coverage every other Sunday, with an additional one weekday per week. Candidates should also be available to assist with PRN holiday and vacation coverage as needed.

Clarion Psychiatric Centerin western Pennsylvania is seeking a board certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for inpatient services.The new associate will join an experienced multi-disciplinary team of Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, Nurses, Therapists and Administration to better meet the needs of the Behavioral Health needs in the region. Clarion Psychiatric Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide PRN medical coverage within our inpatient psychiatric hospital. This role is primarily focused on Sunday coverage and one weekday, with the opportunity to pick up additional PRN hours based on availability and interest.

This is an excellent opportunity for an advanced practice provider who values flexibility and is interested in supporting the medical care of psychiatric inpatients in a collaborative, team-based environment. The provider will work with patients ages 10 and older in partnership with psychiatry, nursing, and the interdisciplinary treatment team.
