Novant Health's Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital is seeking a CRNA to provide expert anesthesia care across pediatric to geriatric patients for a range of procedures. You will administer anesthetics, monitor during anesthesia and recovery, and collaborate with surgeons and teams.

You will practice independently within full CRNA privileges and may float between sites to meet staffing needs. Sign-on bonus up to $100,000 and relocation assistance are available to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice
• CRNA NBCRNA certification required
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications per NH policy
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia
• Extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs and equipment

What We Offer

Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital has 7 ORs and 2 procedure/trauma rooms plus 9 ORs at Center City Outpatient Surgery Center - will support both locations; case load includes orthopedic, general, plastics, peds general, gyn, robotic gyn, urology; no NORA cases

From routine surgeries to complex cases, your clinical skill, judgment, and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Education:
  • BSN, MSN, DNP, and/or graduate diploma level certification required. Graduate from both an Accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia. Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA) as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and recognized by the state of practice as a CRNA. Must meet minimum continuing education requirements every four years of the NBCRNA.
• Experience:
  • Previous experience is not necessary. Four to six week orientation period for new graduates (working with preceptor) is required. Orientation period for experienced providers will depend on previous experience and clinical skills.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current RN licensure in appropriate state, r equired.
  • Current CRNA endorsement in appropriate state, required.
  • NBCRNA certification, required.
  • ACLS certification within NH policy, required.
  • BLS certification within NH policy, required.
  • PALS certification within NH policy, required.
• Additional Skills (required):
  • Must have extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs and equipment.
  • Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify the anesthetic plan of care suitable to patient age.
  • Must have considerable ability to make independent decisions, sometimes under stress, and to maintain a professional demeanor with patients, coworkers and physicians.
