Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to administer anesthesia before, during, and after surgical procedures. The role involves working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

The CRNA will maintain licensure, comply with professional standards, and ensure health and safety requirements are met for all patients and procedures in a hospital setting in the Pittsburgh area.

Qualifications

• Active CRNA licensure in the state of practice.

• Current CPR/ACLS/PALS if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable; health certificate current.

Job description

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) administers and provides anesthesia related care to patients before, during, and after surgery. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist works with various medical practitioners such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, doctors, dentists, and podiatrists, and acts as a liaison between patients of all ages and their leading care provider.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active CRNA State Licensure in state practicing

• At least 2 years of experience as a CRNA preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR/ACLS/PALS if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be a least 18 year of age
