Jobtailor in New York seeks a highly qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to autonomously provide comprehensive anesthesia and pain management across diverse surgical settings. You will collaborate with anesthesia teams to develop care plans, monitor patients, and ensure safety in perioperative environments.
Requirements include COA-accredited CRNA education, current licensure, BLS/ACLS, NBCRNA certification, and 8–12 years of experience. Occasional travel may be required.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, obtain informed consent, and develop anesthesia care plans
• Select and administer anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, and fluids
• Manage and safety-check anesthesia equipment
• Administer anesthesia and sedation and manage airways during procedures
• Monitor patient condition, maintain time-based records, and adjust care to maintain stability
• Manage patient emergence and recovery, provide follow-up care, and discharge patients from the post-anesthesia unit
• Implement pain management strategies, including regional anesthesia and interventional procedures
• Stabilize patients during emergencies with airway, cardiovascular, and respiratory support
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with standards
• Participate in quality initiatives and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Provide anesthesia and pain care autonomously and with the healthcare team across surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures
Demonstrates expertise in conducting pre-anesthesia evaluations, developing anesthesia care plans, and managing anesthesia equipment. Proficient in patient monitoring, pain management strategies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in diverse clinical settings.
