Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Mankato, MN, seeks a CRNA to deliver high-quality anesthesia care within the Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine department. The role supports a range of cases in outpatient and inpatient settings with flexible scheduling and team collaboration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality patient care by prioritizing patient needs.
• Work across OB, inpatient, and outpatient anesthesia cases.
• Support flexible scheduling with 8, 10, 12, or 16-hour shifts (0.8–1.0 FTE).
• Coordinate with the anesthesia team to plan care with competence, compassion, and accountability.
• Utilize scheduling system (QGenda) accessible via phone or computer.

Qualifications

This position requires a registered nurse who has completed a formal program in nurse anesthesia. A minimum of a Master’s degree required.

A Doctoral (DNP, DNAP, DrAP, PhD) degree preferred.

Credentialing by an applicable Mayo Clinic legal entity is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications are required for all CRNAs. PALS and NRP certifications are preferred for those working consistently with pediatric and OB patients.

Schedule Details

Normal day shift starts at 6:45 a.m. with the first case starting at 7:30 a.m. Mid-day shift - 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. At home call at completion from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. In-house call and home call distributed equally among full-time CRNA staff.

Weekend Schedule

In house shift from 6:45 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. & 6:45 p.m. to 6:45 a.m. Weekend back-up call shift is 7:00 p.m. Friday through 7:00 a.m. Monday.
