Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking experienced, passionate CRNAs to join our anesthesia team across Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg and Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, plus two ambulatory surgery centers in the region. These are full-time opportunities with a focus on high-quality, safe patient care.

We offer sign-on and retention bonuses, flexible scheduling (8, 9, 10, 12, and 24-hour shifts), minimal weekends/holidays, no call requirements, 8 weeks PTO, license and certification

Qualifications

• Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of a post masters certificate program for nurse practitioners.
• Certification by relevant nursing anesthesia education programs and professional bodies.
• Active Virginia NP license with appropriate practice agreement and DEA license if prescribing controlled substances.
• Ability to successfully credential with payors and medical staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Mastersin Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of a post masters certificate program for nurse practitioners, OR certificate from an education program that is accredited by the Council of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs/Schools, American Association of Colleges of Nursing of the National League for Nursing.
• Experience: No experience required, but 2-3 years preferred.
• Certification: American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required.
• Licensure: Licensed Nurse Practitioner; If Nurse Practitioner: RN Compact License(due to State of primary residence) and a license (or eligibility for) as a nurse practitioner in the Commonwealth of Virginia and a "Practice Agreement" signed by sponsoring/ supervising physician(s), and a written "Scope of Practice/Protocol" signed by the supervising physician, and "Drug Enforcement Administration License" (if prescribing controlled substances)
• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in all methods of anesthetic delivery including but not limited to intravenous/general, spinal and epidural
• Experience in broad spectrum of clinical services- including but not limited to joint replacement, spine, vascular, minimally invasive surgery, interventional radiology, maternal/obstetrics, endoscopic, diagnostic imaging.
