Alpha Home Health and Hospice seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services in hospital and ambulatory surgery settings in Chicago, IL. You will collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists within an ACT model to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage anesthesia during various surgical procedures, including preoperative assessments and recovery management.
• Perform airway management techniques such as mask ventilation, laryngeal mask ventilation, and endotracheal intubation.
• Develop anesthesia plans based on patient evaluations and discussions with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Work within an Anesthesia Care Team (ACT) model supervised by anesthesiologists.
• Handle cases across general surgery, orthopedics, spine, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, and urology; limited pediatrics at ASC.

Role Overview

• Develop anesthesia plans based on patient evaluations and discussions with surgeons and anesthesiologists.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or related field, with an unencumbered RN or APRN license.
• Minimum one year of critical care experience in the U.S.
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program and passing the National Certification Exam.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; neuraxial experience preferred.
