Role Description

This full-time, on-site Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) role is based in Somers Point, NJ. The CRNA will provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and procedural cases, including pre-anesthesia assessment, selection and administration of appropriate anesthetic techniques, and continuous intraoperative patient monitoring. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with surgeons and nursing staff, managing airway and hemodynamic stability, and overseeing postoperative emergence and pain control. The CRNA will document all aspects of anesthesia care, adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards, and participate in quality improvement activities. The role requires consistent, reliable presence on-site and a commitment to safe, patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Anesthesiology and General Anesthesia for a range of ambulatory and surgical procedures.
• Candidates should possess advanced Nursing skills, including clinical assessment, patient education, and perioperative care.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Medicine and Surgery to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary surgical teams.
• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and active RN license, with eligibility for New Jersey licensure.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, with strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in ambulatory anesthesia or similar surgical settings preferred; commitment to continuing education and evidence-based practice.
