Job summary

Eagle Physicians & Associates is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the Eagle Endoscopy Center team in Greensboro, NC. The CRNA will perform preanesthesia assessments, administer anesthesia, and manage airway and ventilation for procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The successful candidate will hold NC licensure, graduate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and preferably have endoscopy experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Licensed in NC.
• Endoscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preanesthesia assessment.
• Request labs/diagnostics as needed.
• Administer anesthesia and sedation per protocol.
• Manage CPR and airway during procedures.
• Monitor noninvasive parameters and ventilation.
• Maintain electrolyte and fluid balance awareness.
• Support patient and visitor comfort and safety.
• Engage in professional development and affiliations.
• Demonstrate teamwork, courtesy and advocacy.
• Assist where needed to support operations.

M-F 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
• NC licensed – required.
• Prior Endoscopy Experience prefered
  

Paid Maternity/Paternity Leave

After one year of employment and 1,250 hours worked, Eagle provides up to four weeks of paid maternity/paternity leave for the birth or adoption of a child. Leave is prorated based on FTE status.

Eagle does provide medical benefits for CRNA's that work 24 hours or more per week.

• Skill in making mathematical computations utilizing standard formula.
• Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.
• Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions.
