Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the anesthesia care team. The CRNA administers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics for surgical procedures, obstetrics, and other medical or dental cases, providing airway management as needed.

Flexible scheduling includes 8hr, 10hr, 12hr, 16hr, and 24hr shifts; 2-3 night/weekend shifts and 1-2 call shifts every six weeks.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia-related complications.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team. The CRNA will be responsible for administering intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.

Work-Life

Flexible scheduling (8hr, 10hr, 12hr, 16hr, 24hr shifts available). 2-3 night and weekend shifts per schedule. 1-2 call shifts per 6-week schedule.
