Job description

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA)

Full-Time | On-Site / Hybrid (Optional)

About the Firm

We are a fast-growing, forward-thinking Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm based in Bend, Oregon. Built on fiduciary principles and long-term thinking, we serve high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners with a thoughtful, client-first approach.

As our firm continues to expand, we are adding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) to strengthen our accounting and tax capabilities and support a growing base of referred clients.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a CPA or EA who wants a stable platform, a strong flow of incoming client referrals, and the opportunity to grow alongside and within a modern wealth management firm. Prior advisory or wealth-management specific experience is not required. An existing book of business is welcomed and viewed as a strong plus. You will work closely with firm leadership and support staff while maintaining autonomy over your accounting and tax work.

Compensation structure is highly customizable based on fit, based on full vs. part-time employment, bringing a book of business, and involvement in the firm. Equity in both the accounting and wealth management side of the business is also negotiable based on fit within the firm. Initial salary range is a general guideline, but by no means a ceiling.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and oversee tax returns for individuals, entities, and trusts
  • Provide proactive tax planning and compliance guidance
  • Review and analyze financial statements and accounting records
  • Collaborate with internal advisors to support integrated client solutions
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients on accounting and tax matters
  • Maintain compliance with federal and Oregon tax regulations
  • Contribute to internal process improvements as the firm continues to scale
  • Manage and grow an existing client book (if applicable)
Qualifications
  • Active CPA or EA license in good standing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. tax and accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
Nice to Have (Not Required)
  • Existing client book of business
  • Experience in a professional services or client-facing environment
  • Interest in working within a growing, entrepreneurial firm
What We Offer
  • Steady flow of client referrals generated by the firm
  • Competitive compensation (salary + bonus; book considered in comp)
  • Benefits package including health insurance and retirement contributions
  • Long-term growth opportunity within a rapidly expanding firm
  • Collaborative, professional culture with low bureaucracy
  • Quality-of-life location in Bend, Oregon and lots of flexibility between remote work and in-office
Why Join Us?

This is a rare opportunity to join an established yet rapidly growing RIA with a strong reputation and a forward-looking vision. You’ll have the resources of a growing firm, the autonomy of a professional practice, and the support of a team committed to doing high-quality work the right way.
