Role Description This full-time, on-site Certified Prosthetist Orthotist role is based in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area. The CPO will evaluate patients, perform clinical assessments, and design individualized prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include measuring and casting, device design and fabrication oversight, fitting and aligning devices, and making adjustments to optimize comfort, function, and safety. The role involves educating patients and families on device use and care, monitoring progress, and documenting clinical outcomes. The CPO will collaborate closely with referring providers and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, evidence-based treatment.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) from an accredited board (e.g., ABC or equivalent) and eligibility for relevant state licensure.
• Clinical assessment and patient care skills, including experience conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing follow-up care.
• Technical expertise in prosthetic and orthotic design, fabrication oversight, fitting, alignment, and device adjustments.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation principles and experience collaborating with surgeons, physiatrists, therapists, and other allied health professionals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education, counseling, and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Organizational and documentation skills, including accurate record-keeping and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and maintaining professional competencies and credentials.
• Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in prosthetics and orthotics or a related field from an accredited program.
• Experience in a clinical prosthetics and orthotics setting; experience with diverse patient populations and complex cases is beneficial.
