Position Summary
As a Pool Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining commercial swimming pools and spas at HOA and residential communities throughout the Las Vegas valley. You'll manage an established daily service route, ensuring each pool is clean, safe, properly balanced, and operating at peak performance.
This is an independent, hands-on role where you'll take pride in keeping pools looking great while preventing equipment problems before they become costly repairs.
What You'll Do
- Service an assigned route of commercial pools and spas throughout the Las Vegas area
- Test and balance pool and spa water chemistry to meet Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) standards
- Add and adjust chemicals safely to maintain crystal-clear, healthy water
- Vacuum pools, brush walls and steps, skim debris, empty skimmer and pump baskets, and maintain overall cleanliness during every service visit
- Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, plumbing, timers, and automation systems for proper operation
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic equipment adjustments to keep systems running efficiently
- Identify leaks, equipment failures, or safety concerns and report repair recommendations promptly
- Inspect pool safety equipment, gates, lights, GFCIs, and common areas during each visit
- Complete daily service reports, chemical logs, and required documentation accurately
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, property managers, and customers regarding pool conditions when needed
- Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized manner
- Respond to occasional emergency service calls during peak season
What We're Looking For
- Experience servicing residential or commercial swimming pools
- Working knowledge of water chemistry, filtration systems, pumps, heaters, and pool equipment
- Ability to identify common pool and equipment issues
- Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and managing a daily route
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in Las Vegas weather
Preferred
- SNHD Pool Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain it with company support)
- Experience servicing HOA, apartment, hotel, or commercial pools
- Basic plumbing, electrical, or mechanical troubleshooting experience
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
