Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Possess an Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited college/university, or 60 credits.
• Be a U.S. citizen at time of application.
• Have valid Florida Driver's License by time of employment.
• FDLE certificate required.
• No felony convictions and clean background as per Town requirements.
• Be at least nineteen years old at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Perform general-duty police work to protect life and property.
• Enforce laws and ordinances in assigned area during shift.
• Complete selection process including oral assessment, psy exam, background check, and medical exam.
