Required AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals and California CPT I certification; phlebotomy experience preferred. Weekend every-other, with flexible on-call and shift times to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals is required.
• Phlebotomy experience in a clinical lab is preferred.
• Current California CPT I certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide the technical knowledge and judgment to support Sharp HealthCare laboratory services.
• Perform phlebotomy collection with attention to safety and proper sample labeling.
• Coordinate and monitor equipment and inventory to prevent shortages and ensure quality testing.
• Adhere to QA processes, document results, and communicate issues clearly to lab leadership.
