Job summary

Samaritan Health Services in Albany, OR is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in medication preparation and labeling, performing a range of technical support tasks under supervision. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and either a current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license, enrollment as a first-year PharmD student with an Oregon Intern license, or completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One of the following required:
• Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License; or enrolled first-year PharmD student with Oregon Intern license; or completion of Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in medication preparation and labeling activities.
• Performs a broad range of technical support functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
