Qualifications

• Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Registered Pharmacy technician in the state of practice required.
• Registered Pharmacy technician trainee accepted with completion expected within two years.
• Certified pharmacy technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Performs non-judgmental technical duties under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepares drug orders per physician request following established policies and protocols.
• Verifies computerized patient medication records accurately and maintains patient drug records.
• Maintains technician licenses and CE records; attends staff meetings.
