Job summary

BlinkRx LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription processing and provider communications at our Pittsburgh site. You will handle data entry for electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions, communicate with providers, and resolve issues across departments to ensure accurate, timely medication access for patients.

The role requires PA licensure, 6 months of related experience, and PTCB/NHA certification before joining.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of Pharmacy Technician or similar experience.
• PTCB or NHA certification required prior to joining.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
• Professional phone presence in a support role.
• Attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Strong technical aptitude to learn software.
• Competent in basic pharmacy calculations.

Responsibilities

• Process data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions per Blink protocols, including complex entries.
• Serve as the point of contact for provider communications, handling outbound and inbound calls.
• Handle inbound provider calls via warm transfers with context established.
• Resolve open issues across multiple departments (pharmacists, technicians, Incident Coordinator).
• Perform tasks in a safe, compliant manner per policies and laws.
• Other duties as assigned in the Pharmacy Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Process data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions per Blink protocols, with a focus on complex and higher-difficulty entries
• Serve as point of contact for provider/physician communications, handling both outbound and inbound calls
• Accepts inbound provider calls through warm transfers, ensuring call context is established prior to acceptance; patient calls are not currently part of this role, responsibilities are subject to change as business needs evolve
• Resolve open issues submitted by a variety of departments, including pharmacists, other technicians, and Incident Coordinator team
• Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner consistent with corporate policies and State and Federal laws
• Other duties as assigned in the Pharmacy Technician role

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months prior Pharmacy Technician, or similar industry experience required
• PTCB or NHA certification required prior to joining
• Licensure: Must hold an active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license or be willing to obtain and have it approved prior to start date.
• Professional phone presence in a support/service capacity
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software
• Competent in basic pharmacy calculations

Shifts

Available Shift Options:

• Rotational 40-hour per week shifts are also available between the hours of 8 AM – 9 PM EST, (Monday – Friday)

Saturday shifts rotate among the team (9 AM – 5 PM EST) you'll always know your schedule in advance.
