Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare Inc. seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician II for full-time, first shift in Greenwood, SC. Monday-Friday with weekend rotation.

You will support preparation, packaging and dispensing of medications, while maintaining accuracy and compliance with SC Board of Pharmacy requirements. Preferred candidates will hold PTCB certification, be in good standing as a State Certified Pharmacy Technician, and have completed an accredited technician program with documented work hours.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a pharmacy technician with the SC Board of Pharmacy.
• Preferred to be PTCB certified and in good standing as a SC State Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technician program with documentation of required work hours.
• Must have basic typing skills and a working knowledge of computers and equipment used in preparation, repackaging, dispensing and distribution of pharmaceutical products.

Description

Monday-Friday with Weekend Rotation

Must be at minimum registered as a pharmacy technician through the South Carolina Board of pharmacy. Preferred to be currently certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and registered in good standing as a "State Certified Pharmacy Technician" with the SC Board of Pharmacy, (This requires being a graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technician program and by having submitted documentation for their required number of work experience hours as a pharmacy technician or having met requirements to be grandfathered in by 2004). If registered and not yet certified, certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Must have basic typing skills and a working knowledge of computers and equipment utilized in the preparation, repackaging, dispensing and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
