Job summary

PillPack, LLC - H96 in Manchester, NH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, maintaining a clean pharmacy, and ensuring correct medication packaging and labeling. The role requires adherence to state regulations and the ability to work flexible hours, including shifts outside normal hours.

You will operate automated machinery, support distribution, and help move orders through workflow stages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active and unrestricted in-state Pharmacy License where required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• 6+ months experience with computer and web-based tools.
• Strong communication with coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in filling prescription items as allowed by state board.
• Maintain a safe, clean pharmacy by following procedures and rules.
• Work with leadership to ensure correct medications are in packets.
• Operate automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Transition orders through workflow from dispense to quality control.
• Count and label prescription vials for bulk items.
• Pack and ship completed orders with proper labels.
• Triaging boxes to ship at the right time.
• Support distribution manager and pharmacists with receiving/shipping.
• Package medications for dispensing and delivery; may work outside normal hours.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Work daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right packets
• Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication
• Transition orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control; count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items
• Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes
• Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time
• Aid the distribution manager and distribution pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing clean equipment and work areas
• Package medications for dispensing and for delivery
• Work a flexible schedule – shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal business hours

Physical Requirements

• During shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 10 hours excluding overtime, flex and part-time shifts may vary):
• Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretching
• Lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weight
• Manual dexterity of hands and wrists

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License through the State Board of Pharmacy, if required by State Board of Pharmacy.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
• 6+ months of experience working with computer and web based tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand English language labelling on product cartons and prescription labels.

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
