Walgreens in the United States (Texas, Lubbock) seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and deliver a great customer experience.

You will use pharmacy systems, help with cash handling, and support inventory and clinical services while coordinating with healthcare providers. Prior Walgreens experience and PTCB certification are preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsabilités

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other duties per policy.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Enter patient and drug information, verify accuracy, and support workflow.
• Assist with inventory management and cash register handling.
• Support pharmacy staff in coordinating clinical services with healthcare providers.
