Job summary

Blount Discount Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician in Maryville, TN to support pharmacists in dispensing medications, entering data, and maintaining accurate records while delivering friendly patient service. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, and comply with HIPAA; strong teamwork and organization are essential.

The role involves inventory tasks, adherence to safety standards, and assisting with daily operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient interaction with health and wellness services as allowed by state/federal law
• Deliver excellent customer experience while completing reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing accurately
• Lead by example to maintain store standards and seek help as needed
• Assist in inventory management including reconciling orders, returns and physical inventory
• Maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information with care
• Assist the pharmacist with responsibilities not requiring professional judgment
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions to management
• Report illegal activity (robbery, theft, fraud) and follow applicable regulations
