Job summary

Blink Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for an onsite role in Boise, Idaho. The technician will process electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions, coordinate with providers, and resolve issues across departments while adhering to state and federal regulations.

Candidates must have 6 months of pharmacy tech experience or relevant background, plus Idaho license or in-training status and certification such as PTCB/NHA.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ Pharmacy Technician or similar industry experience
• Professional phone presence in a support/service capacity
• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy
• Ability to learn complex software and perform pharmacy calculations

Responsibilities

• Process data entry of prescriptions per Blink protocols, including complex entries
• Serve as point of contact for provider communications via calls
• Handle inbound provider calls and warm transfers; patient calls not in scope
• Resolve issues submitted by pharmacists, technicians, and Incident Coordinator team
• Perform tasks safely and in compliance with policies and laws
• Other duties as assigned in the Pharmacy Technician role

Responsibilities

• Process data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions per Blink protocols, with a focus on complex and higher-difficulty entries
• Serve as point of contact for provider/physician communications, handling both outbound and inbound calls
• Accepts inbound provider calls through warm transfers, ensuring call context is established prior to acceptance; patient calls are not currently part of this role, responsibilities are subject to change as business needs evolve
• Resolve open issues submitted by a variety of departments, including pharmacists, other technicians, and Incident Coordinator team
• Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner consistent with corporate policies and State and Federal laws
• Other duties as assigned in the Pharmacy Technician role

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months prior Pharmacy Technician, or similar industry experience required
• PTCB or NHA certification required prior to joining
• Professional phone presence in a support/service capacity
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software
• Competent in basic pharmacy calculations
• Must hold an active Pharmacy Technician license OR Pharmacy Technician in Training License in the state of Idaho, registered with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy

Shifts

Available Shift Options:

• Rotational 40-hour per week shifts are also available between the hours of 8 AM-7 PM (Monday - Friday)
• All shifts require rotational Saturday shift 7 AM-3 PM
• Onsite full time position located at 12639 W Explorer Dr #100, Boise, ID 83713
