Job summary

PillPack, LLC - H96 in Corona, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support kiosk-based operations and provide essential dispensing support. You will assist pharmacists, manage inventory, and ensure accurate packaging and labeling for pharmaceutical orders.

The role requires a valid Pharmacy Technician license, state certification, and a driver’s license, with flexibility for shifts that may extend beyond standard hours.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6+ months of experience with computer and web-based tools.
• Valid and active driver’s license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read/understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.
• Clean driving record that passes Amazon’s MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations using company vehicle.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by state board.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy complying with procedures and regulations.
• Coordinate with Leadership to ensure correct medications in orders.
• Operate automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Transition Pharmacy orders through workflow from dispense to QC.
• Count and label prescription vials and bulk items.
• Pack and ship completed orders with correct labels.
• Sort and route boxes to ship on time.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and staff with receiving/shipping/counting/packing.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and maintained.
• Package medications for dispensing and delivery.
• Possibly flexible hours outside normal site times.

Key job responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to our remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company provided vehicle
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Work daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right orders
• Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control
• Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items
• Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes
• Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time
• Aid the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing
• Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas within the pharmacy.
• Package medications for dispensing and for delivery
• Work a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal site business hours

Physical Requirements

• During shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 10 hours excluding overtime, flex and part-time shifts may vary):
• Driving for long periods of time (8+hrs)
• Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretching
• Lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weight
• Manual dexterity of hands and wrists

Basic Qualifications

• Clean driving record that passes Amazon’s Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Checks (to be rechecked annually). Driving privileges will be revoked if your DMV reports indicates you have received a ticket for one or more of the following violations: Evading responsibility, Being at fault in a fatal accident, Having two or more motor vehicle accidents in the last three years, Having a motor vehicle accident resulting in greater than $5,000 in damages, Driving under the influence or in any way impaired by alcohol or drugs, Reckless Driving, Recurrent speeding violations, Recurrent driving suspensions, Three or more driving violations within the last three years

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
