The Certified Pharmacy Technician will manage kiosk operations and pharmacy workflows, driving from the pharmacy to remote kiosk locations, refilling inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and assisting pharmacists with prescription processing. The role blends on‑road independence with in‑pharmacy teamwork and requires a flexible schedule that may extend beyond normal business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive between the physical pharmacy location and remote kiosk sites using a company vehicle.
- Refill kiosk machines with medication, paper, and clean equipment; collect used inventory for return.
- Prepare inventory shipments for kiosk replenishment.
- Assist pharmacists with filling prescription items as permitted by state board regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Work with leadership to ensure the accurate placement of medications in orders.
- Operate automated machinery for pre‑sorting and packaging medications.
- Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
- Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through workflow stages from initial dispense to quality control.
- Count and fill prescription vials, affix labels on bulk items.
- Pack and ship completed orders, printing and affixing labels on dispensers and shipping boxes.
- Sort and triage shipment boxes for timely dispatch.
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
- Maintain equipment and work areas, including cleaning and upkeep of pharmacy machinery.
- Package medications for dispensing and delivery.
- Work a flexible schedule; shifts may start and end outside normal business hours.
Physical Requirements
- Driving and transporting medications from the pharmacy to kiosks for long periods (0–8+ hours).
- Standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and stretching as required.
- Lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs.
- Manual dexterity of hands and wrists.
- Occupancy of shifts up to 12 hours during peak/high demand; standard full‑time shifts are 8–10 hours (excluding overtime).
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months experience with computer and web‑based tools.
- At least 21 years old.
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
- Effective communication skills with coworkers and supervisor.
- Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.
- Active, unrestricted in‑state driver’s license.
- Clean driving record that passes Amazon’s Motor Vehicle Record checks; revocation conditions include specified violations.

- Ability to recognize and identify patient medications.
- Experience working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Starting pay: $25.00 – $28.00 USD hourly. Additional earnings may be available through overtime and performance bonuses. Amazon offers benefits including EAP, mental health support, medical advice line, and 401(k) matching from Day 1 of employment.
