A leading company in healthcare staffing is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians for a specialty pharmacy in Overland Park. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience, a Pharmacy Technician License, and the ability to handle prescription processing and customer communication.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Data entry of prescriptions and processing claims.
• Handling customer phone calls, both inbound and outbound.
• Speaking with physician offices regarding prescriptions.

• We are looking for technicians who have retail (preferred) or specialty pharmacy experience.

• If they only have PA experience, they do not meet our requirements.

• Specifically looking for techs who have prescription processing experience.

Descriptions may include:

• data entry of prescriptions, prescription entry, prescription intake, dispensing prescriptions, filling prescriptions, etc.
• They need experience in handling customer phone calls both inbound and outbound.
• They need experience speaking with physician offices.
• They need experience with processing claims to insurance/third party.

Descriptions may include: adjudication of claims, claims resolution, processing insurance Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Pharm Tech. Prior Authorization experience highly preferred

Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician License along with 2 years experience in Retail or Pharmacy.
