Local Health is a fast growing, family-oriented group of independent pharmacies looking for a Full Time, up to 40 hours per week, Certified Pharmacy Technician to work at our Harvey Local Health Pharmacy in Chicago, IL.

We are looking for a dependable Certified Pharmacy Technician that will process and fill prescriptions. You will assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision and in accordance with state and federal regulations, with technical functions in the pharmacy. Such functions may include measuring, counting, labeling, record keeping, and communicating with patients and other healthcare professionals. Ensures customer satisfaction by handling each customer in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner. We are looking for high energy technicians who are motivated, able to multitask and have excellent customer service skills.

Highly competitive pay rate commensurate with experience. No nights, Sundays, or holidays, and some flexibility in scheduling. Benefits and 401k with a company match, employee discount, and other benefits available. Fulltime positions are offered Medical/Dental/Vision benefits.

This position is listed as a \"Pharmacy Technician\", however we encourage applications from both certified candidates and those who do not have Pharmacy Technician experience. Please note that compensation for non-certified technician candidates will be considered based on experience and training.

Certified Pharmacy technicians must be nationally certified and registered with the Illinoid Board of Pharmacy. Any person not currently registered with the Illinois Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy technician trainee must obtain registration prior to commencing employment in an Iowa pharmacy.
