Job summary

King Soopers, part of the Kroger family, seeks a Pharmacy Technician to provide exceptional customer service in a health-focused environment. You will assist pharmacists, handle prescriptions, and support health and wellness services while maintaining strict privacy and safety standards.

The role requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and appropriate state certifications. You will work on-site in Colorado, contributing to community health efforts and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Maintain current registration or licensure as required by state.
• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities that do not require a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing processes.
• Coach and train clerks/technicians as needed.
• Compound medications per state regulations.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data.
• Support non-dispensing services via available platforms and tools.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings per state and company policy.
• Deliver additional health and wellness services allowed by regulators.
