Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Tech II for the Inpatient Pharmacy. The role operates on a 7on/7off schedule with 11-hour shifts from 8:00pm to 7:30am, offering a 15% shift differential. Weekend and holiday work on weeks with 7on is required.

The technician will support pharmacists by assembling medications and assisting with ordering, receiving, storage, and monitoring medication use under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification and KY Board registration required.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician.

Job Description

• Pharmacy Tech II is a certified pharmacy technician position who supports pharmacy services by assembling and participating in the distribution of medications. A pharmacy technician II will need certification by a nationally recognized certification board. This position will assist the department's professional staff, under direct supervision, in numerous aspects of ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and monitoring medication use.

Requirements

• Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals), within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.
• Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician.
