Job summary

Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) in Prescott, AZ is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists with accurate preparation and dispensing of medications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of IV medication compounding experience.
• AZ Pharmacy Technician license or certification.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician designation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, distributes and delivers medications in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks in support of daily department operations.
• Maintains proper medication and supply stock levels.
• Operates and maintains automated medication delivery systems and devices.
• Participates in department quality assurance programs and maintains QA documentation.
• IV admixture preparation training and documentation, including handling of hazardous/chemotherapy medications if applicable.
