West Wichita Family Physicians in Wichita, KS is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our family-focused team. You will dispense medications under pharmacist supervision, assist patients, manage inventory, and ensure accurate recordkeeping with HIPAA compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a valid CPhT, has 1–2 years of retail or clinical experience, and is willing to obtain immunization certification if not already certified.

Qualificações

• Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) required.
• Immunization certification preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently certified.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare providers.
• Ability to solve problems professionally and calmly.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management software and openness to new tech.

Responsabilidades

• Dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision with accuracy.
• Administer immunizations if certified; else willingness to certify.
• Assist patients with medication inquiries and provide clear dosage instructions.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and restock as needed.
• Review medication orders for accuracy and coordinate with physicians/patients as necessary.
• Prepare compounded medications as required by prescriptions.
• Adhere to state/federal regulations, HIPAA, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records, including immunizations.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and staff to ensure quality patient care.
